QuantStudio 1 Real-Time PCR System
The QuantStudio 1 Real-Time PCR System is a basic instrument for new and experienced users looking for a quality product at an affordable price. With a large interactive touchscreen and pre-optimized protocol templates, set up is easy.
Run reactions of up to 100 μL and detect differences as small as 1.5-fold in singleplex reactions, with results in approximately 40 minutes. The QuantStudio 1 system is also equipped with Connect, Thermo Fisher Scientific’s cloud-based platform, allowing you to remotely monitor your runs in real time, analyze sophisticated data sets in minutes, securely store data, and share results online with colleagues across institutions and around the world.
QuantStudio 3 and 5 Real-Time PCR Systems
QuantStudio 3 and 5 real-tme PCR systems are factory-calibrated for quick installation and immediate use. These systems detect differences in target quantity as low as 1.5-fold, allow remote monitoring, and feature optional cloud-based Applied Biosystems analysis modules and data sharing.
Designed for both new and experienced users, they support 96-well (0.2ml or 0.1ml) or 384-well (QS5 only) consumables. The systems also feature multiplexing capabilities for up to 6 targets and software to enable 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

The Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 6 and 7 Pro real-time PCR systems deliver greater flexibility to support a variety of applications and throughput requirements. The QuantStudio 6 and 7 Pro systems’ 96-well blocks incorporate VeriFlex technology for precise temperature control. These blocks are divided into isolated zones that allow separate cycling conditions within the same run, perfect for optimization. You can also increase your throughput with interchangeable blocks that accommodate 96-well 0.2 ml blocks, 96-well 0.1 ml blocks, 384-well blocks and TaqMan Array Cards (QuantStudio 7 Pro model only). Other unique features of the QuantStudio 7 Pro system include automation compatibility and software features to assist with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
QuantStudio 12K Flex Real-Time PCR System
The Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 12K Flex Real-Time PCR System can simultaneously run up to four 3,072-reaction QuantStudio 12K Flex OpenArray plates in about four hours. When combined with the QuantStudio 12K Flex OpenArray AccuFill System, the QuantStudio 12K Flex system can produce up to 110,000 data points or more in an 8-hour day with as little as 20 minutes of hands-on time per run. A feature-rich touch screen interface and comprehensive software analysis tools for gene expression, and genotyping increases productivity.
Designed for the highest flexibility, the QuantStudio 12K Flex system has five-interchangable block formats including: OpenArray plate, TaqMan Array card, 384-well, and 96-well (0.1 and 0.2 mL). This delivers unmatched versatility for the lab with flexible format requirements. A variety of reagents, controls, and kits (both Regulated and For Research Use Only) suitable for performing Real Time qPCR. This category includes products spanning a wide variety of applications, including but not limited to; gene expression analysis, genotyping, allelic discrimination, single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) detection, microbe and pathogen detection. These products utilize TaqMan and SYBR chemistries for one-step or two-step amplification and quantitation of analytes via RT-qPCR.
